The below coaches have been approved by the board of directors to coach club skaters on club ice.  These coaches are independent contractors.  You will need to contact them directly to find out availability and rates. If you choose to hire a private coach, there will be a fee for private ice and the cost of each lesson (which is paid to your coach).  Together, you and your coach will determine how many lessons you need to obtain your skating goals.  Your coach can also keep you informed of any opportunities to compete individually or test through the USFSA.

Ashley Beach - I am a Minot native and have skated a total of 15 years, starting when I was three and finishing through my senior Ice Show.  I achieved gold medals in both dance and moves in the field, along with one international dance, and my junior freeskate test.  I am so excited to be coaching with MCFSC.  I began coaching for MCFSC this year and I am already in love with it.  I find it extremely rewarding.  You can contact Ashley at beachy15@hotmail.com 

Heather Brockell - I started taking lessons from the MCFSC when I was five years old.  My life soon became consumed with figure skating and it has been that way ever since.  I have passed my Juvenile Freeskate, Senior Moves in the Field, all of my gold dances and two international dances.  I started coaching Basics for the MCFSC in 2006 and began giving private lessons in April 2011.  I can easily say I have one of the best jobs I could ever ask for.  Working within one of my biggest passions, along with being able to pass it on to others, has been very rewarding.  I look forward to doing it for many years to come.  You can contact Heather at heather.brockell@my.minotstateu.edu

Haley Wentz - I have been skating since I was about 4 years old.  I was a member of 3 past synchro teams we had.  I am a gold medalist in Moves and Dance.  I have passed 3 international dances, the Cha Cha Conglodo, Rhumba, and the Silver Samba.  I have tested and passed the first 3 levels of ice dancing; the first 2 with Ty Cockrum in Sun Valley, Idaho and the third with Chase Fishpaw.  I have passed through Juvenile in Freeskate.  This year I got to pursue the coaching aspect of figure skating and have developed a real love and passion for teaching younger kids the joys of figure skating.  You can contact Haley at hew1@srt.com.
